Tips for an out-of-stater?

Hey everybody! I will be in the Indianapolis area in late July and was wondering what some good places to fish were. I'll be traveling in on I70 from PA so any lake from the border to Indianapolis would work. I was planning on fishing Geist one night just to look at all the houses but I'd like to find a less crowded spot for the weekend. I also wouldn't mind fishing a slower section of a river if there are any worthwhile. I will be targeting bass. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!!
