Whats really cool about these is if you want to share a fishing spot or hunting spot online you can save the file open it in microsoft paint and mark the map wherever you want.
Yes sir . I notice they are a TIF Image and like you said mark them and email to firends and such.. You can also make your own fishing logs with maked spots on the map water levels water temps places fished and so on.

Awesome. I am going up to Michigan this summer. This will be great in helping me scout out places I am thinking of fishing. I even was able to find a boat ramp at a place I was considering. Thanks for sharing.

It is best to know the Quadgrangle name first, for instance, for Barren River, use the Lucas quadrangle to see the main portion of the lake. To find it, click on the Kentucky, then click the link [U]View the entire list of USGS Kentucky Digital Raster Graphic Maps[/U], then find the respective quadrangle... I also helps to have a quadrangle map hanging in your office like myself, lol.

It doesn't show underwater topo, at least it didn't for GRL.
