They were crawling keitechs in 30’ of water and doing well on the brown fish! Try to find some grass

That has been a consistent pattern for a while.........I'm headed down too, and will be doing that bright and early tomorrow......
That is, after I float the fly a little........ :) :)
Good luck guys! Let us know what the water temps are and how you do.
We struggled today. Caught 1 each, one LM and one SM. The LM came on a keitech and the sm off a channel point on a grub. Back of illwill was 52 degrees with debris floating, main lake was 56 and fairly clear. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Ouch. Had a buddy there yesterday, was tough for him too...

Hit the lake this morning and looks like it is turning over. Fishing was tough. Water temp ranged from 52-54 degrees.
Caught 4 yesterday, 1 SM and 3 LM. Sm was on a point on a swimbait fished back slow in about 30ft, the largemouth were shallow in the grass, 1 on a swimbait and the other 2 on a lipless crankbait. warmest water we found was 55-56. Definitely tough, only catching we saw was folks using live bait. Heading back down this weekend, hopefully the fishing improves.
I was also down there, and had similar luck......we had 6 or 7 yesterday, 4 or 5 on friday, and 4 today.......It was a really tough weekend.
I did catch a few yesterday on the float and fly though, which is nice :)
