Dale Update
Got a call this evening from Knute (The Heathen) with Doug in the background. Fishing has been tough. Water temp is a little cold and they haven't been able to catch bait.
The conversation was a bit garbled as Knute was in the first stages of consumption from drinking Buffalo Trace to ward off the cold. Doug was in the background saying something about my boat being sunk. ??
Boat insurance is paid up so I don't have any worries.
I just hope they get into the fish on Saturday.
(I'm hoping the boat sinking was just a joke. I'm sure it was.)

I fished Dale Monday 4/8th just about all day long. Wind I would say any where to 15 to 30 mile gust. Old saying goes throw the tackle box and never got a bite. Fished that lake for years and for some reason I just don`t believe it is the lake it used to be. I would think I could be the worst fisherman in the world and would still get a bite sometime during the day but just could not get it to happen. Talked with some guys fishing for crappies and don`t think they were doing any good either they were asking me where the grass beds were.
