Cumberland Lake
I have asked around about Lake Cumberland since I will be traveling there on Saturday to fish out of Burnside Marina (river end of the lake) and no one close to me has any information about what is going on. Does anyone have anything for me as to where the fish are, what they are doing, or what baits to use? Anything would be greatly appreciated!

Right now with the water rising fishing is iffy, largemouth and small mouth biting but ya have to fish hard , haven't heard about crappie, I haven't been yet for crappie or catfish, or striper yet......everytime ya think the water is gonna settle down we get two more inches of rain so It will be coming baCK UP.. Come on down and fish anyway, bad day fishing is always better than any other day not fishing....

Crappie bite has been slow as well (at least for me). Prior to the water coming up it was great. Since then it has been tough. Fished days and nights under lights. Catching several good ones but have to work all day or night to get them. Good luck though, I will be out there somewhere likely.
