I have caught a few on DD14's, Super Spooks, and bright spinnerbaits.
go bass fishing....always seems to work for me...id say with the water cooling down to almost 60 degrees those toothy critters should be movin up shallow and as far as baits just put it close to em...theyll bite it
Use wire leader, heavy line, heavy pole and really good reel.
Fish wood, particularly fallen trees and stickups where you can find it less than 10 ft deep.
Fish big baits like you would fish for bass. You might even catch one of them too.
like everyone else said but we troll around the banks. Put the lines out only 25 ft or so, right in the prop wash, troll at 3 or 4 mph. Sounds crazy but it works. huge in line spinners, stick baits, yellow or orange, keep the drag loose when trolling that when they hit, they can strip line, then set the hook and tightn drag up to the right level without breaking line.
Thanks for the info
