Chasing those hawg redear!!
Yesterday after work I went to Barkley and saw four nice Redear caught in five mintues while I was putting my Kayak in; at least one of them was over a pound. I was thinking it was going to be on fire but they were the only ones I saw caught till dark. I only got a couple Bluegill and 3 Catfish. I am on vacation after today so I hope to get into some good fish this coming week.
Do you fish around the Barkley Lodge at Little River? Do you catch redear down there?

Seems like they quit biting at least for me. In the area I was catching them a lot of big asian carp moved in; hooked into one and it nearly spooled all my 4lb line before hook pulled out after a ten miniute fight. Hooked into another shortly after that quickly broke my line.
