Cedar Creek Report 4/29
It was relatively slow, but steady all day. We were out there from about 6:30 am to 6:00 pm and only caught 12, but our best 5 probably went 18 lbs with nothing over 19.75”. All on moving baits. Could not get bit on the bottom.
Water temps ranged from 58 to 63 throughout the day. Clarity was about 3-4 ft around the old 150 ramp and about 1 ft towards the back end of the lake.
We saw some good fish cruising the shallows Getting ready to spawn, but they weren’t locked down on the beds from what we could see.

Was there Friday, temps had jumped to 72 and lots of empty beds.
-
The week after we were there, it was constant high 70’s and sunny so I’m sure most of them spawned during that week. I’d imagine that the whole lake is post spawn now.

Was there Monday. Caught 5 decent fish, one keeper. None spawned out. Saw several locked on beds. Definitely not post spawn. Maybe yalls kayaks spook them?
