Can't really help you out with details about the lower end, but we fished Saturday and Sunday from Linney to Harmon and Difficulty. We put in at Cumberland Point. The water there was like chocolate milk, so we ran downstream a ways. Linney was not really muddy, but still had some color to it. We had a few pull downs on the float n fly, but no hookups. Couldn't buy a hit on a jig, so I started throwing a jerkbait. Around 11:00 I had about a 6 pound smallie on, but just inches from the net she decided she didn't want to play that game anymore. Why is it that only something you love dearly can hurt you so badly? That was the only fish of the day. Sunday we only fished until about noon. Caught 2 smallies - one about 2 - 2 1/2 pounds and my partner had one we figured at around 4. Everything was caught on main lake points or pockets with jerkbaits.
