Changing of the Season
It’s the time of year
When the wind and rain
Has almost laid the leaves of color to rest
The early morning surface lies in shimmering glass
Reflecting a late autumn landscape in every cast
As snow clouds appear on the horizon
They bring a winter chill to an early autumn sunset
It’s the changing of the season
A time to count our blessings
A time when fishing can be at its best
