Bank Fishing Below Wolf Creek Dam

Since I don't have a boat ,and was looking to tool around tomorrow, I was wondering about fishing from the bank below the dam. I will have waders and as of right now it looks like I'm gonna head to Snow Island. Are there other spots that have bank access. I want to try and get away from the crowd so walking isn't an issue but getting stranded because of the water coming up and trespassing are. Does anyone know of other access points that can be reached by walking? I've only fished the Cumberland River one other time and it was by boat so I am completely unfamiliar with the area.

From the dam down to Ray Mann road has public bank fishing and is usually to crowded. Be sure to check the generating schedule to now when to head up the bank. Long Bar is a new location for bank access.
