How many boats are you expecting?
not real sure there is a tournament on the 1st of jan. and hopefully after we get done fishing that tournament we will be able to tell you better.... but I would have to guess unless the weather is really bad its should be a pretty good turnout. I know of several boats that have already said they are forsure coming so we should have several boats!
Is there an open tournament on Cumberland on Jan 1 that you know of?

yes the tournament on Jan 1st is a open tournament out of burnside.... not real sure on details but its a $50.00 entry fee I THINK!!
Do you know any details about the tourney as to times or who is putting it on?

the toury on the 1st, Don Smith is putting it on. and I am not sure about time... I would guess blast off that morning will be at safe light.
Do you know if you can fish either of these tournaments alone or do you have to have a partner?
