A friend and I are coming in Sunday. Just in time for the full moon and the lunar eclipse. We are staying at Holmes Bend. Good luck to you. We will be in a red Nitro, if you see us stop by and say hi! Sorry I have no information at this time, but will be checking your post for some.
I actually went down yesterday and caught a few early but after 10am couldn't buy a bite shallow or deep we would of had a limit of 12" fish that's about it
i saw several fish i thought was bass , chassing shad yesturday.
Just got back from green river lake. Rain wiped out today's fishing. Didn't have much luck Sunday or Monday. All fish that were caught were dinks. Threw top water, cranks and spinnerbaits. First time there. Beautiful lake. Water was clear for the most part. Will have to try it again sometime. Hopefully the fishing will be better....
Fishing has been pretty terrible lately. Come in april or night fish during the summer to see what the lake actually has
Come back in about a month and cast white spinnerbaits in the back of the small feeder creeks and latch onto a big muskie that is pretty common in October.
FWIW we were there yesterday surfing the whitecaps, trying to stay dry and avoid windburn. Also trying to catch those elusive fish with teeth.
Water was clear and 72-73F. local said it had come up a foot or so the last day or so and fishing for most things had been slow.
Did manage to catch one keeper Musky and one small Musky. Maybe saw 10 boats all day and we covered most of the lake.
