My day at Patoka

Launched from Walls ramp, after finally finding the darn thing. The sign on 145 that says "Walls Lake Ramp 5 miles" is wrong. It's only two miles to the turn off with a little bitty sign that we missed because we thought it was 5 miles.

Anyway, we were after crappie. Caught 3 that were keeper size and a bunch of runts, all on minnows and bobbers. Water temp, around 57,clear.

We had a nice day on the lake,plenty of sunshine and bass or whites were on a surface bite. They were splashing all over the place.

you sure those werent carp?lol. i hate those things

Beautiful day to be on the water - thanks for the report - I'm planning on fishing there Friday thru Sunday.
