Looking for Info on the lakes around Salt fork area?

Anyone fish or should I say how bad crowded are the lakes in the salt fork area? I am from the southwestern Oh area and wondered is it worth the drive? Ceaser Creek is always a total bust, with east fork and rocky fork. I just know there are a lot of lakes in that region unlike here. Is it worth finding a 2 or 3 day stretch and running up there soon? And a good area or place to stay? Nice clean motel, area and easy charging for boat etc?:confused:
