Hey Guys I just received the 2011 report from the KDFWR and here's some of the highlights on the findings of the tournaments that reported:

Number of bass per hour: 1st Kentucky River with 0.45 bass per hr (3 tournament results)
2nd Ohio River with 0.40 bass per hour
3rd Barren River Lake with 0.39 bass per hour
4th Herrington Lake with 0.36 bass per hour (6 tourn reported)
* 9th tie KY Lake/Barkley Lake - 0.29 bass per hr.
% of successful anglers: 1st Nolin River Lake with 88.9 (based on 15 tournament results)
2nd BarrenRiver Lake w/86.1
3rd Rough River Lake w/85.1 (19 results)
4th Lake Beshear w/81.0
Average weight per bass: 1st Cedar Creek with 4.64lbs (based on 14 tournaments results)

I like what I see about the Ohio River. It's getting better. I don't know why they include Cedar Creek in those though. It is a 1 bass only tournament. That % of successful anglers number doesn't surprise me. Nolin seems to be getting hotter every year.

I fish a circuit on the Ohio River Smithland Pool and last weekend there were (3) 5+ bass weighed in and it took 19.5 lbs to win!!!! 12lbs didn't even make the top 10. There were 28 boats and 27 of them had limits!!!!
