Has anyone had any luck fishing the water at this park? I caught a nearly 14 inch crappie there about a week ago, but haven’t gotten even a bite the few times I’ve been back. Wasn’t sure if I just got lucky my first time there, or if there’s plenty more where the first one came from. Pretty sure it isn’t stocked, but it’s close to my house so I’m hoping my luck will turn around soon.
Couple of years ago l caught a 5# bass. Fished a few more times but only caught 14" and smaller. Talked to a man says he catches crappie there all the time
Thanks for the tip. Sounds like there’s more to catch out there. I might have to try out some bass lures too

i've caught several largemouth in the 1 to 1.5 lbs range there. I have been told there are some decent channel cats in there also. try throwing a black and blue chatterbait or a natural color senko on a wacky rig.
