Northern KY big bass...
So my first fishing season in NKY after moving here from Missouri has been far from memorable....
However did get a 4 1/2# from Doe Run, 4 3/4# from Bullock Pen, a 5# from Corinth, and a 6# from Boltz.
Back home that would've made a nice tourney bag (my personal best is a 28# limit) but for here it made for a LONG summer! I haven't hit AJ Jolly yet, and only been to Kincaid twice with moderate success.
Where else can I go around here, within an hour of Union KY, to catch a 5+ that I haven't already been to?
Already looking for new water...Mike

Well for this area thats not a bad season. There are pleanty of places to fish. Woods Creek in London ky, Brookville in IN, Batesville (bischofs) in IN, East Fork OH, Rocky Fork OH, Patoka IN, Ohio river upper and lower pool, Cave run Ky,Paintsville KY. Fishing is tough all around here but you'll get used to it. Dale Hollow and Kentcuky and Barkley lakes are probly the best but thats some travel time... Good luck on next season..

Kincaid is at the top of my list. I have caught 2 over 6lb and have hooked a couple to the boat pushing 10lb. Boltz is second. AJ Jolly third. For Indiana, Brookville #1, Bischoff second, West Boggs maybe up there with Brookville. Ohio #1 Lake Erie Western Basin, Indian Lake and East Fork.

If Boggs is indeed on your list hit it in 2013. It's going to be drained at the end of year and restocked. Going to be several years before fish make it to 5 pounds.

Why are they draining West Boggs????
