Had friends go down friday and had there limits on crappie in 25'to30' of water,if this charts is correct those fish must have had 02 tanks to breath.
Just because the water is deep, doesn't mean the fish are.
I catch crappie all the time at Taylorsville in water more than 50' deep,
but the fish are usually around 15'.

I called up the guy who told me, he said the fish were holding about 20' off the bluff wall over 80' foot of water and they caught there fish in25'to30' so talk to them not me I was only looking at the 02 scale and wondering how they could be that deep with no oxygen.

Green doesnt have 80' of water off any bluff walls, so id question that. I had a buddy double limit on crappie in 20-25' in brush so there are a few fish down there. While bass fishing i am seeing everything start to set up in 15-18' like they do every summer when the thermocline sets up. Water is still cooler than usual so it doesnt surprise me that theres not a hard thermocline set up yet
