Ohio River / Little Sandy River / Greenup

I have a tournament next week...on the Ohio River...the ramp is at the mouth of the Little Sandy River...anybody fish the little Sandy River for bass....just looking for some info on fishing this area. Demo Dan

I fished there often last year. Had some luck just down river in the flats and around the old camp ground area. Also a little further down there is a place where trash collects and creates a large covered area. I pitched jigs in there with some luck. At the corner of the river and sandy is good as well as down the rock embankment in front of the houses on the main river. Jig all structure in the little sandy and cast crankbaits parallel to the rocky bank on the main river.
