Corinth lake
Got about 3 hours on Corinth Lake before the rain ran us off. Caught four 13 inchers and a bunch of smaller ones. Water temp was 72 degrees. Water color was great. Using smoke tube jig. I think F&W killed the shad off 2 times. I think they’re back. I enjoyed the 3 hours

No, it’s gone, everything died off or is dying off. If I’m reading my electronics right, thermocline is at about 20 foot.

Did you see a lot of shad n the lake?
I need to catch some for bait.
Can you night fish in a boat on Corinth, I would like to set out lights and cat for some shad

You can night fish. My partner and I saw what appeared to be shad near the surface a couple of times. There is not supposed to be shad in that lake. F&W killed them out 2 times. I also saw on my electronics what appeared to be clouds of bait fish. Shad? I don't know. Hope this helps
Using smoke tube jig.
how do you fish these in a lake? I use them on the creek all the time with great luck, bouncing them off of the bottom as I reel it in. Same technique? What size?

I use the tube different ways. I usually use a 1/8 oz jig head.i like the BPS Tender Tubes in the 3 1/2 inch tube size. I usually just start out popping it and letting it fall or steadily retrieve it, I’ve also Texas rigged them. It’s, in my opinion, about as a good do nothing special rig. Find what works for you. The tube is my confidence bait. I hardly use anything else anymore. I also keep markers to enhance the tube. I like the garlic flavored ones the best. I use the tube wherever I go. It works for me. Hope this helps.
