Watauga Spotted Bass

Has anyone been to Watauga lately? I heard some nice spots were being caught back in late November/early December. I didn't know how true they were. I hadn't been on that lake in at least 4 years and at that time I hadn't heard of anyone catching spots up there. I'm sure they were already in the lake, probably not as abundant as they are now. It's obvious that the TWRA doesn't want them with the 15 per day limit, but I seem to do well on lakes that have them. It at least gives a man another fish to go after.
