Re: Big fish of the year so far...

My fish doesn't stand up to the competion of you guys . But best so far was 2lb. 5 oz. black crappie caught early March vertical jigging. Can't wait for fall to get a bigger one.
  8. Re: Something interesting about Starve Hollow for you bass guys

Maybe not, I fish some more than others. But haven't seen too many lunkers in my years of fishing there.
  9. Re: Something interesting about Starve Hollow for you bass guys

I will say this, a few of the lakes you mentioned, I play around at time to time early in the year, panfishing. And this spring I've seen some guys catch some of the biggest bass out of those...

7' Power light 2pc. ESP spinning rod. Like new only used once, bought less than 2 week ago. Nice rod, just not for my kind of fishing. Micro guides are a turn off for me.

    65 shipped to you.

For the time being, glob some vaseline on the tips of the ears. My vet told me this will help, they eat my German Shephard alive in the warmer months.

    Re: How to

No need to skin, cut the meat right off, and fillet them. I soak all my fish in salt water or milk over night. Takes the blood out of the meat, and makes the fishy taste a little milder.

The glove on one hand to hold the fish is a great idea, especially on bluegills, one little slip, and the gill plate will eat your fingers up.
