I have been catching some nice bass at Nolin,close to bank,some on top water real early and close to dark...

I love fishing right below Ky lake dam and Barkley dam when the water is lower,catch catfish,skipjack,striper,drums,lots of fun.

I do think that the blue cats taste the best.I have been cat fishing for years and I have noticed that cat fishing have grow a lot here lately.

Bass bite has been good,bluegill starting to bite pretty good,and hybrid stripe bass are biting too,I would go for sure and the weather is going to be real nice!

I fished at Wax from the bank this morning,caught some nice catfish on the bottom,lots of cold wind,and the lake was coming up.

Lake level is about 5 foot below summer pool..and shouldn't be no obstacles between the dam and dog creek,,bass bite has been pretty good and the bluegill are bitting some and still catching a few...

What they have came up with for the carp die is horse poop...best I remember they came from the South(were they have warmer winters) and moved to the North...and there origin is Asia.were its is warm...

I fish Nolin a lot and its a little early for the big bluegill but have been catching a few and been catching several bass,caught a 4.4 largemouth bass Monday at dogcreek, and there is a nice boat...

On Bass a lot of people that I know that have be fishing for bass have been catching them on spinner baits and shad raps...

Well you can stay at the state lodge but might be pricey ....in Leitchfield there is a Hatfield Inn in town. It is a real nice place it is about 15 miles to rough river...

Ket /Pub been having the yearly fundraiser. It messes up theregular programing for a few weeks sometimes. I also miss what's going on in Kentucky like the old Kentucky Afield had.
