[QUOTE=Les Young;579618]How i got the smiley face up top i don't have a clue. lol Tims reply may be a little over the top, but here's another bass fishermens take on it. I'll have to say myself that...
Water temp was still 66.8 Tuesday on Main lake around Jamestown Marina.
Still pretty warm for this time of year. Probably plays into it.
Surprisingly shallow considering the water temps.
What is the water color like? I figured it was too muddy to crank at night.
Just wondering what the water color and temps were on the Lake after this last rain.
I like to start when the surface temp is the same as the temp is at 30 feet. It seems to me this usually happens when the
surface temp drops below 60. Nothing at all like fishing for them in late...
Hard to believe its still that warm on the main lake. Killing my nite time crank bait bite for stripers.
I was in the back of Buck creek tues and it was 53.5. It was still 62 at the ramp.

I've fished itasca county which is about 90 miles away from Deluth for several years. The fishing up there is unbelievable. The smallmouth up there are big, stupid and very numerous. Better start...
Just wondering if it is cleaned up enough to fish this winter? I haven't been there since the spill.
Cumberland still has plenty of Largemouth, although i'm sure the water level changes haven't helped them..The fish have evolved because of the tremendous amount of both fishing and pleasure boating...
I was there Saturday and caught some stripers farther back into the creeks, about 1/3 of the way in.
Fished the same part of the lake you did....
Can anybody tell me what area of the river to fish for stripers this time of year ( in general)? Is the Burksville area good?
Upstream or downstream from there?
Thanks in advance.
I was wondering about the striper size on Norris since the fish
kill a few years ago.
Are there many twenty pounders or over in there yet?
What's the average size people have been catching or...
Was wondering how it went at the TN striper association fishing tournament at Kingston this past weekend? Anybody know?
