Your welcome...if u come thur Knifley on ur way to the lake stop by the store. May have a more up to date fishing report and help get u on a bunch of fish. 30 with 10 keepers sound about avg. from...
Not really... Have caught some good fish down stream, but right now if the fish are biting. somebody in the boat should get a bite every run.
Run up in the bowls of the turbines. Wait for the boat to start drifting backwards and throw over the bowl. Try to keep line tight and straight up stream just off the bottom. I used jigs tipped with...
Never gets to high the more generators and the longer they run the better. Best in 560's range if u want to run up in the turbines.
water has a little color to it from last weeks rain, but people are catching fish. From Fishers bend to 551 bridge along the channel. Water temp around 40 degrees.
water at casey creek clearing up fast, the river above the 551 bridge had good color and muddy between white oak and holmes bend. water temp 47 to 52
they had a booth at the dealer show friday.. i ordered 3 of everything from them. should be in sometime this week.
Haven't been out cause they have had all 6 generators and 1 sluice gate open. water is pretty rough, but i watched a few boats last week catch fish against the generators.
Remember... you get what you pay for. I now own all Curado's
Steven...Im off work till after new years. If u wanta go to dale give a a call. My boat and truck?
my started acting up Wed. Night. Thursday when I turned it on it said: fatal error system failed to reboot. I called dish and they said new receiver is in the mail...sorry
My receiver just crashed and I lost all episodes of Bassmaster and classic patterns. If you have shows recorded on DVR that you want to keep save them to a SD card.
Lake was over the road at Casey creek ramp last night. They are pulling the lake hard and it should be bout summer pool tonight. Can't tell bout water color ( dark when I get off work).
Yea..we were going to go back but there were several boats Saturday. I'd say give them a few days to calm down and it should be good again. (Tuesday or Wednesday )
Sorry ...double post.
12/9/11 Friend..Anthony Burke with the biggest fish he has ever caught.

Catfish biting at green..
We were fishing brush piles in bout 8 to 9 feet of water. Setting minnow bout 5 feet below floater.
Caught some crappie today and all had bleeding dorsal fins. I've never seen this on fish. I've seen bleeding tails around the spawn. Posted pics on photo board.

Haha..yea I had that same thought after I re-read my post.
Thanks..
Thanks Don...thats gives me idea of what to shoot for.
Yea..agree that 5.5 is a good fish for the river. A friend caught a 5lb on the co-angler side. He got 1st and big fish with that 1 fish the...
I haven't fished the river in about 10 years. Going up next weekend around the Warsaw area. What would be considered a good day on the Ohio river..best 5 fish? I don't want to set my expectations to...
The # for the dam: (270)-343-0153
Tells you lake & river levels. Plus generation schedule for that day.
Dec..around the week of Christmas. Water was in the 560's
Billy...caught these back in the winter. My mom sent me this pic I forgot she took it. Yea..dad was with me but he didn't catch any..LOL
I would say its dry right now they're not generating
Sqaure bill RC 2.5
[QUOTE=FlyLie;462763]Thanks, but after looking at the TROUT in your "fishing album", I am humbled...:)[/QUOTE
don't be humbled....the fish in my album were caught in the winter under perfect...

Don't keep up with it cause I fish when get the chance to go. But I do know when all the sticks in the water are floating vertical it can be a tough bite.
When towing with my Tahoe I always cover especially in wet conditions. Tahoe has lift kit & 35" tires so anything on the road ends up in the boat. ( parts of dead animals, worms, sticks you name...
Both sides of Buffalo gap are good places for walleye. From gap to Holmes bend marina is deep rock wall. Other side is a huge flat with stumps, but as mentioned no grass on GRL. good luck
You're welcome...Billy
Ill tell them u said hi good luck next week.
Some bigger fish drifting and trolling around corbins bend. A lot of small fish around the bridge to plum point. Caught bout dozen on a crank bait bass fishing last on rocky points.
Unless they have upgraded green is not considered a HD lake so its in 5 foot intervals. But Cumberland and barren show 1 foot intervals. Not sure bout rough and nolin
Had the same experience with my 3 1/2 old little girl a few weekends ago. Had mommy on call for backup if things didn't work out. Never made the call. She caught fish, played in the boat and didn't...
Main lake points 20 to 30 ft. Vertical jigging spoons.
That's how we caught them last year the whole month of July. Parallel the points starting out in deeper water and keep moving in. No problem...
Don't know what u mean by normal? It all depends on how much rain fall the area upstream gets. The closer they get to 680 the less they'll generate.
I haven't been in bout 2 weeks, but we caught...
Curado 5:1 ratio on a good cranking stick. I use St.croix glass rods on all my crankbaits. IMO.. glass rod have helped me land more fish.
Billy..just came in from fishing. We had several little sauger on minnows and curly tail grubs.
They have cut back the flow and the water has dropped bout 4 feet.
Yeah... I know what u meant. I just wanted to add to ur comment...KP
I got several different color combos, but have the best luck on a 1/2oz black/red with nickel blade. Hopping it down points once the moon gets high. No problem telling when one hits it
Not super competitive but them old guys will take your money if u make a mistake..
Had134 cats on rod and reel memorial day weekend on the Cumberland river. I only fished 2 nights but my dad took people out for 5 nights catching 50 or more every night.
If your after numbers fish below the dam. Plenty of fish just not size.
