Heard a rumor that Barren will no longer stock hybrid's due to a new type of shad that they will not eat, but will stock with walleye instead. Is this true?

EJHIck....no i didnt see any bedded bass. The water there was still aroun 8-10ft. deep.

What excatly went on here?

I dont do much bass fishin on barren. Mainly hybrid fishin. I have fished Barren once for largemouths and had no luck. Maybe a couple of 1 pounders and that was it.

I use Matsu size 3 for worm fishing and size 4 for the zoom supe flukes. Which is very effective bait in shallow areas.

I am not familiar with Herrington, but have been having some luck at Barren River. What lure and techniques are you using?
