How about ice on the lakes, anyone know ?

I fish some in the lower pool, deer creek, cloverport and they are in all the creeks in that area, have heard they are around the louisville area also.

Fished out of Deer creek T/F/S. fishing was slow and the carp were jumping in every creek we went into, saw lots of them floating and people bow fishing for them. Hope they kill them all before more...

Saw a video of three boats running side by side with guys in the back shooting them with shotguns it was a hoot.

Tuckers lake was not far from Riggs lake and it was a swimming lake with a small zoo, at night a lions roar carries a long way. Back then it was a rural area and very quiet.

I spent many an all nighter there when I was a kid. At night you could hear the lions roaring over at Tuckers lake, good memories.

I have had a lot of luck on soft plastic jerk baits (senko type lures ) I like the Team Supreme brand and the price is right I know what you mean about the price of Senkos.

T-ville is not my favorite either but it is all relative you still have to catch them. One lake it may be 25 lbs. another its ten lbs., you just have to keep it in perspective.

Gas prices are starting to make this Taylorsville devision look pretty good.
