Beaver Lake (Lawrenceburg) open banks 50 foot right of way, Elkhorn Creek (Georgetown) 2 parks and some open banks. There are also some KY river locations but I can't name them.
I hope they will manage to keep the ramp open.
I fully understand how running a small dock / rental could be a hard way to make minimum wage.
Do you or anyone know if the ramp is still open?
nice article.
I'm pretty sure they go here: http://www.fishin.com/forums2/forumdisplay.php/174-Boats-Buy-Sell-Discuss
Welcome to KY and the forum.
The Dept of wildlife lake in Frankfort is a decent place for a short afternoon of bank fishing. To keep the trout you need a stamp. My great uncle used to catch a...
How did he ever get that in the boat? That had to be some fight.
I am far beyond a simple case of cabin fever.
Yesterday got my fishing lust stirring. The high winds today are the only reason I did not try some dock fishin'.
These are sold.
I have the following BassPro gift cards for sale:
3 @ $25 each
1 @ $50 each
I will sell them for 80 cents on the dollar or $100.00 for all. Cash only.
Be glad to meet you at any public place...
Why not have it all. Ride the Harley to your favorite fishing spot.
If you guys are going out Monday morning, I will just admit to being a wimp; an unfrozen one.
My 94 listed with a TM only is about $23 per year total. $15 is the reg fee and the rest is taxes. Taxes are about $1.22 per 100 of value. At one time there was a $500 minimum value. I suspect...
Heck even I might **** it up and go out for a few slabs like that.
You were most definitely busted.
I've never been so I can't offer an opinion.
Nice how2 post.
Avoid it like the plague during the boating season. Those people on the lake think it is a raceway.
Long shot, but check the tire pressure. I would also jack it up and check for an improperly tightened hub nut.
I wanna hear the story the way he tells it in about 12 years and forever after. :)
Oh it hurts since it made me think. :) That is actually some pretty advanced thinking that deserves some serious consideration.
17 years! I am but a babe in the woods.
I do think you stated it very well and I blame the spell checker for my errors cause it ought to know by now that I can't spell.
I'm at the point of saying to heck with it and working on the honey do list. Hoping for an earlier fall and daytime temps where I can get out and enjoy the day of fishing.
Winner, I think you need at least 55 for that boat. I would consider that the minimum. The 30 I have is moving about 1000 pounds total boat, people and gear.
Winner, to get a quality answer we need need to know about the boat; size weight and style.
I believe the general consensus borne out by personal experience is that any TM pulls better than it...
Did I miss the part where you hand packed the bearings? I would do that even if I had the ez lube just to ensure they were fully coated.
I concur on the nut. There should be just a little play in...
Looks like someone had a great time.
Never saw the show until today. I might have watched it more if I had known.
46 is much too young.
My condolences to friends and family.
I like in solo or with friends. Just the aspect of getting out there is quite relaxing. I love the action. I am going to C&R about 99% of the time so it is just for fun.
+1 on what he said elevated to 99.99%
I am certainly knot (intended) an expert. The .01% is when I screw up.
They really don't eat them. If the did I might call it sharing the bounty. The drag them across the yard, take a bite and leave the rest. So they just waste them.
If they don't leave my tomatoes alone, it is going to open a couple of weeks early around here.
The black spot on the dorsal was the confirmation in my mind. Photos and coloration do vary a little in all the photos I have seen.
Most of you may consider them bait. They are however a blast to catch on an ultra light rod and reel. The state record is 2.5 pounds in TN and I bet it was an epic battle to net the rascal.
...
By golly I do believe you guys are 100% correct. http://fw.ky.gov/pdf/kyfishid.pdf
Thanks a bunch.
For years Wikipedia and I have fished with the misconception that all rock bass have red eyes. After coming home today and trying to ID this little fellar I have learned that is not true.
I do...
Craigslist. Louisville and Lexington both are fairly active as are a couple IN locations. You are in a good triangle for people making the drive.
Gee, I would but I would have to get up at earlier that the doughnut maker to get there by 5:30.
Nice work. It must break your heart when you lose one.
An excellent video. I would not use gasoline to soak the parts. Use diesel or K-1. Those tend to be a bit safer. Taking the wheel off the hub also allows the hub to be soaked to remove all...
For people that do long hauls what CTFSHWHISKER said is the best action plan. Keeping a spare hub with bearings and the minimal amount of tools necessary to change it out is very cheap insurance....
No. But I might take the plunge for an inexpensive BORG combo set at 29.95 or less. I don't think the fish care what you spend.
Just taller than the motor? No requirement (unwritten) that allows a ticket for the occupants bodies blocking the view of the light?
I am posting this in the Kentucky area and I am only interested in KY. enforcement policies. Other than the Ohio river which I won't be on if there are bodies of water where different rules might be...
I am not a purist on the subject and my OB manual says 10% Ethanol is fine but I know a lot of people are concerned about it. I wonder if a member supplied user data listing might not make a...
Considering the way it rained around here today, I don't think I'm up to the challenge.
There is a site that maintains a database that lists all the places that sell it. There is nothing close to Fayette county and I don't recall the site name but I bet Google does.
Sure that would be fine if the natural predators were proportionally brought back also.
What the "restore the species groupies" doesn't get is that it took 100s if not 1000s of years for a...
I agree with Sweetwater and I would follow the label directions for the ethanol treatment. The bottle of Stabil I bought this year contained revised directions from prior years.
