This is a case were F&W LEO presence will really help keep things under control. On the Current River in Missouri there is a huge tourist paddler operation going on. The river stays pretty clean...
We've seen a huge increase in the paddle traffic on Drakes Creek in Warren County. With that has been a huge increase in trash, especially beer cans and bottles sitting on the bottom of the river. ...
This is nothing against you just more of an FYI but Elkhorn has a 12"-16" slot so you may keep fish under 12" or over 16". Most other rivers and creeks in ky are 12" min.

I have a buddy who wants to come up and fish the white bass jumps on Nolin. He is wanting to put in a week for vacation. If you had to pick a week that is probably the peak what week would it be?

I couldn't agree more! Big smallmouth are a prize and should be kept a secret! You'll be lucky to ever catch those fish again. Someone will take them outta there. Seen it happen too many times!
Flash Flooding is very natural with small creeks and thunderstorms.
I'm glad to see that someone else has some sense
Y'all keep on keeping the fish and giving away your spots and guess what they will be gone! Just saying based on past experience!
If you continue to keep those fish then they will be gone and only short fish will be left. Have a little respect and catch and release!
