I agree with half of what Lawnman said the lower octane does burn hotter but it helps burn the carbon deposits off. That is why high octane fuel has so much detergent added to it.

Grumpy Wood Creek is in Laurel county it is a small lake. If you are going south on I75 you can see it on the right side of the road shortly after you get in Laurel county.
We went to Wood Creek Saturday and the water level is about 4 feet low. If you go watch out for the end of the ramp it is very easy to back off the end. Water temp was 56 and fairly clear I caught...
Any one know what the conditions are like down at Wood Creek (water temp, lake level, etc.)
