Heading to Green River this weekend, any reports? Lake conditions, level, any bass being caught? Just looking for general info no secret spots or baits. Thanks for any info.
Not for sure but am planning to go there Sunday. Hopefully will see a report on here before then.
What are the St. Croix rage? Spinning or baitcasters?
I agree with going with the President and I have it on a St. Croix Rage rod. Awesome setup.

Have a group of guys coming down from Taylorsville, is there a fee to pay to get in the swap meet?
Taylorsville is a great spot to fish, Guist Creek in Shelbyville is another good spot to go and catch fish. 10" power worms and creature baits do pretty good as well. Good luck and welcome to KY.
I have two of them, a 7'6" for flippin and a 7'3" for spinner baits and love them both. I have a Falcon Lowrider and a St. Croix and like the Abu better than any of my rods. I too broke one on a...
Been out on Lake Shelby 5-6 times this year and every time have caught 1 over 4lbs. Have gone as far back into the creek as far as possible. Fishing has been very good to me out there this year. Good...
Have been going to Lake Shelby due to everywhere else being flooded and have had great time. Last time there caught 4.5lbs full of eggs. Released back right away and caught about 30 more bass all...
I like Taylorsville as well, do pretty good there. Hopefully people will say that it is a dead sea and stay away. That leaves the lake for the rest of the fisherman who like it.
St. Croix is a great rod, oh yeah and they are made in America. Best out there, but thats my thought.
Just to let everyone know that my 9 year old nephew is working on hosting a benefit bass tournament for a church camp project. The tournament will be help on April 30 and will be at Taylorsville Lake...

T-ville is a fun place to fish. You don't always catch a boat load but that is why we call it fishing. You have to think and there is hardly ever a pattern but that is the fun part about it. Just...
My top Five:
1:Greg Hackney
2:Russ Lane
3:Edwin Evers
4:Cliff Pace
5:KVD
Good lake, just fished heavy.
Edwin Evers is due a big win as well and watch out for Russ Lane.
No its a solid one piece, I do not like a telescopic rod. I had a 7'6" Carrot Stix but returned it and got a Falcon Lowrider. This Abu feels a lot lighter than the Carrot Stix.
I am a member of a small club out of Taylorsville. We are looking for for members. As of Saturday Jan. 8 we have 7 boaters and 2 non-boaters. Have the scheduled set up and ready to start in March. If...
Can't wait to use mine. Got one for christmas, 7'6" that I am going to use for flippin and pitchin. Haven't decided on what reel to put on it, any suggestions?
