Re: Dying fish in livewell...any suggestions?

I agree. I had an 18 gallon tank in my center console. Whether it was 90 in KY or 95 in the FL Keys, I set the auto pump on a 3 minute delay, and it would run for 1 minute. With a 500 GPH pump I was...

    Re: C-land River Help

The prediction says 2.5 for the next 5 days, but that could change with today's rain. So typically 2.5 is one generator during the day and off at night. That should get you an easy day float from the...

Yeah, drives me nuts below Wolf Creek. Guys watch me drift over the island again and again catching fish, and then pull up on it and anchor. I won't go into the inefficiencies of anchoring up there,...

    Re: Back on the Carp!!!

I use a 5wt all the time on 6# plus carp. It's all about rod angle and hand tension.

With that said, I often use a 7wt to make long casts to spooky fish easier.

You should check out Belize. There are many fish camps you can go to where it's all inclusive. Guided fishing everyday and food for 4 days for $1200 per person.

Re: Am i the only on who dislikes Fluorocarbon ?

Make sure you soak your knot before pulling it tight. Fluoro creates more friction than mono, thus more heat, and will actually burn itself a little making the line very weak.
