I stayed in Scottsville last fall, intersection of 31W and 231, I think the name was economy inn, was just over 50 bucks a night, clean, good parking for bassboats.

Waveland is requiring permits if you are hosting a tournament in 2011, Which is needed for the good of the lake.

Geist has open water, went by there last Saturday, there was a lot of debris at the ramp, if they have not cleaned it up, up may need to move some tree limbs that have floated into the ramp, 1 lane...

In the past, if they chain the Olio Rd ramp, you can launch at the Fall Creek Rd ramp, last year the chain was not put up until the weather turned bad. :-)
