If I wanted a cooler of filets now I would put out some jugs. You could put them out from your boat where everyone is bank fishing and everyone could keep an eye on them and take turns checking them

Brandon Hunter usually has a recent report on youtube, but I haven't checked in a few weeks.
Bass fished Barkley Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. Caught 3 keepers total and 3 non keepers. Tried everything from the bushes, channel banks, humps to the ledges. Didn't see any shad on SI/DI...
Does anybody know what it took to win this? We fished it and had a hard time finding a keeper.

WTB a used mercury tempest plus 22 pitch.
I'd fish for largemouth with a chance at some white bass. Use shad imitating baits. The campground is by a creek/bay with standing timber. Good luck
I was there this morning. The lake main lake and the mouth of Peter and Skaggs had good color, not muddy at all. I think it's up about a foot and a half.
Was curious about the lake conditions? I'm guessing it's rolling and muddy. Any info? thanks

Vicious fluorocarbon has the best abrasion resistance of all the fluorocarbon I've tried. It has a little more memory but a little line conditioner takes care of that. As with all line, if your are...
Nice smallies. Although I rarely get to Dale, I always enjoy your report and pics. Thanks
I have had this problem in the past. If you are using windows: log onto the fishin.com, go to tools, compatibility view settings, then add the site. It worked for me a year or so ago.
Dog creek campground at Nolin is close to your description. Nice little campground in a no ski zone.
It's cleared up some since Saturday. Definitely fishable but it's been a slow bite for most.
Nice smallmouth. Thanks for the report.
Nice! Thanks for the great report.
Looks like you had a good day. Thanks for the report.
Is that 27.5 a 5 fish stringer? If so that's some good fishing.
Here is a link to a recent report:https://www.edmonsonvoice.com/community/nolin-lake-fishing-report-july-5-2018
I don't know anything about roundstone creek but I know a little about Nolin. The river: you can access from Bacon creek ramp and the bridge on hwy 1214. The lake: Moutardier ramp, marina and...
Is the gravel road into Sugar Bay in pretty good shape. I was afraid after all this spring rain it would be washed out a little. thanks
Thanks for the informative report. Glad you caught them
The dog creek and the river are pretty muddy. Brier creek and the dam area looked a little better but still muddy. It will probably settle some by this weekend if it doesn't get washed out again.
Nice report. Thanks for the info
Doug Vahrenberg has a lot of videos for Humminbird on youtube. I'm sure someone has some on there for Lowrance.
I remember that pic
Buchanan Resort has a strip motel and some cabins. It's clean and has a marina you can walk to easily. It's easy to get into in the summer but you should probably call them now to reserve a room for...
Thanks for the advice. I'm going with the mustang.
I'm going to purchase an auto/manual inflate life jacket. I don't have any experience with them. I do know I would like one that will put you on your back, won't inflate in a lite sprinkle, not...
I'd try Sledd creek. It's real close to Ky. Dam
I picked up a hood to a small outboard on Louisville Rd. today. If anybody lost one let me know.
It was slow for us Wednesday. We caught a few early and then it slowed considerably. My guess is most fish should be post spawn when you arrive.
Water temps were from 51 to 54 today. Water was a little stained. I heard a bass fisherman say he fished upriver and caught a lot of whites.
USA bassin has a series called next generation. It's set up to get young people into the sport. I think one person in the boat has to be under a certain age and one adult. If I remember right they...
I use 2 setups. A 6'6' ultralight and a 7' light action. I use currently use pflueger president reels but I got by with the inexpensive Mitchells for yrs. The ultralight rod is for 1/32 to 1/8th oz...
I saw on his last report that he was having his surgery. Does anyone have an update on him? Hope he has a speedy recovery.
Prowler makes a flappin craw that I've gone to. Lots of action, tough and in expensive.
We caught a lot of whites in the jumps this past wkend but I have yet to see hybrids in the jumps. We were hoping there would be some in with the whites but there were none.
The bass schools are on the creek and river ledges this time of year. You can still catch a few up shallow. If it's windy and with a small boat you could probably choose a large bay with a prominent...
For bass Dave will put you on fish and teach a lot as well. Highly recommended. I hear Capt. kirk is as good a crappie guide as they get and good on bass as well.
I saw 70 degrees Sat. Though there has been some fluctuation with the cold spells it's been over 65 for a couple of wks. Lake level has gone up 6-7ft in past couple of days with the rain.
As of 9/30 the water temp from the surface to forty feet is the same or 1 to 2 degrees off. With the depths of lake getting shallower as you go upstream I would have to agree with the DNR guy. I...
Thanks for the input. I bought it and it looks great. I can't wait to get to the lake.
Has anyone out there tried the navionics app for your smartphone? I was wondering about accuracy and whether it used data or not. It looks pretty good for $10.00 and it may hold me over until I can...
I finally took Daves class on eliminating water Monday. All I can say is I wish I had taken it sooner. I know alot more about bass behavior now. Thanks Dave.
Go to the musky section at gander mtn and get a big roostertail type spinner, a big shallow crankbait,
a big swimbait and some wire leaders. About halfway between the dam and B.G. there is rd that...
I thought I was the only guy left on the planet with an older Suzuki.I found some parts for my 89 DT115 on ebay a few wks ago. I emailed the guy and asked him if he had other parts and he replied...
