what's the best for $500
going down sunday to try to get some stripers, any body catch any this last week? if so what part of the lake
i prefer minnows but everytime i use jigs we have success too, anything with green in it works for me
green river, taylorsville, cave run- take your pick
more interested in how to catch them than what kind they are? any tips would be appreciated
where and what were you throwing?

was there last weekend, no luck on bluegill's. hope to get them this weekend. saw zero on the nest??
when you leave the boat ramp from Van Buren, go up the lake(right) the timber is on the left side of the lake. the creek channel also runs down that left hand bank
last weekend did pretty good on plastics, caught about 10, biggest about 3 lbs 5pm till 11pm
put in at bryant's camp saturday, water was stained 52-53. water was way down
it will be hard to clean that mess up in thirty days. i wish them luck
it's the worst thing i've ever seen on water.i can't believe the state can't force someone to clean that mess up
a little south, laurel lake, from 192 boatramp to corbin dam is a good place to catch some nice flatheads
Paul's Discount in Somerset has silver buddy's for 2.50. also has some other brands that look just like the silver buddy 2.39(gambler)

i used this product a few years ago, make sure you put a floor in if your boat is just a jon. the alum weld is not very flexible, other than that it stopped the leaks
was that show on saturday /sunday or saturday only??
i've got an older motor, '87 was told by mechanic to run high octane. when i use 87 octane my boat won't hardly run. really sluggish. was told with older models it was recommended to run higher...
what part of the lake did you fish?
