I guess that means I'll be throwing a Gene Larew Salt Craw most of the year of the Ohio...
I am currently debating on fishing this division this year. Email me at j0king01@louisville.edu if you are in need of a co-angler. I live in Louisville.
How did the Dale trip turnout??
Im throwing in "Cherokee Park Pond" or the park with the pond across from Cox's Park at the Ohio River as my choices for the classic.
you never cease to amaze me, there is also a chance we head down to Barren...I know a few good spots there!
il make sure to wear a crappy pair of shoes than
if the odds are correct, we will be going there.
Hosko,

It was 1:30 am, I went to bed at 11 pm. I can't sleep. Another case of pretournament jitters where I wake up every 10 minutes, look at the clock, and try to get more sleep. I know it completely...
Usually dip the tails or pinchers of plastics in Spike-It Chartreuse Garlic scented.
Usually with either a fly rod or an ultralight rod, but flyrod's are the best for distance.
I was planning on bringing a couple rods and my tackle anyways. Il be sure and stop by. I have no idea what my boaters # is though.
Are anyone of you guys going to be fishing this tournament? I am being an observer for a buddy of mine for it. Looks like a weekend full of reading and writing for grad school while watching...
There not BlueFox, but Bass Pro has double buzzbaits and if they do have them, I'm pretty sure Plapps would also (although I've never been there).
Thanks for the directions, much appreciated, now only if I can find myself some bass.

as a poor U of L grad student I agree, Bass Pro has about half my tuition on lures!
can anyone else hear the sounds of a crackin whip??? just kiddin. I got paired up with a newbie, so it sounds like I might be doing the guiding. Thats scary in itself since I've never been before
unfortunately, i have night class tonight. my last professor I managed to make enough excuses to get out of it for our meetings, but not this time. I look forward to Patoka ffor 2 reasons: 1. the...
You doing Patoka??
yea when he just randomly threw out the chainsaw quote I lost it. " I don't do drugs, smoke, cuss, or drink...I just do turtles." I have been practicing my yell so when I hook into a bass at the...
Did anyone by chance catch Kentucky Afield yesterday with the guy who caught the snapping turtles bare-handed by standing on them?? It was classic.
Sounds like somebody didn't want calamari for dinner so they just tossed it in the river. It is hard to imagine how it got in there. Although there are freshwater jellyfish, but I've never heard of...
Blue/black bitsy bug with black craw trailor or 3/16 or 5/16 Eakins jigs with Paca chunk trailors have been producing.

Thanks,
I went there this weekend and caught some. Went to stage stop, blue river chapel, and rothrock. I did the best at stage stop. DNR might change the slot to 10 inches there also to try and...
I figured it might be when your partner caught a 5.3 lb smallie to show you up and get big bass on Barren and then the next time you fished together you caught a 3.3 LM on Nolin to show him up...
James,
I'd ask Bob H. about Taylorsville. He lives about 5 mins away and fishes there a lot. There is a lot of structure there and lots of pressure, but they are fish to catch. As far as Cox's...
sounds like someone is on vacation this week...
I was just getting into bass fishing and my dad and I were fishing a strip pit in early spring in Central Illinois. I threw a worm out and walked away to go pick some morel mushrooms I saw on the...

Could you please email me them also, j0king01@louisville.edu
Where would be a good accessible spot to go and try to catch smallies on the Blue River?
I know most of the Blue is in Indiana, but does anyone know where the best accessible and decent fishing area is for smallies on the blue?
Im pretty sure they are asian carp. I my hometown is right on the Illinois and Spoon River in Illinois and they are full of them. My best friend worked for the DNR in Havana, Il and he would take...
Anyone have any news on how Nolin has been lately? Have a night tournament there Saturday.
