fished it sunday morning after the cold front. only managed 3 between 1 & 2lbs. one on a pop r and 2 on a shakey head. water temp at dawn was 67 and was 70 at 1 pm. clarity was good. hope that helps.

there have been some break ins at the cowan ramp recently. i know of one where the back sliding glass was shattered and the vehicle robbed. i would go to ramp 2 at the end of old 150 (1770 off of new...

yeah there is a couple who play around the old 150 ramp. i saw this HUGE swirl and then the dorsal and tail fins like a shark :eek:

last sunday there was a man and woman on a raft and swimming beside their boat in front of the bridge within a few feet of boat traffic. :(

you hit the nail on the head. i always buy the large spools and change line frequently. i also recommend the xps flouro. started using last year with no problems at all. as for braid i like suffix.
