    Not really KDFW fault

Let's go back to 1995. Paul Patton became governor. Money was tight in state government. KDFW was self sustaining, using only fees from licenses and tags. They received no money from the state...

    Would not recognize it now

The rain last week has it currently about 6' over summer pool. They did start dropping it last night. Now if that hurricane decides to change it's direction, WOW!

Don't throw your bait at the middle of the brush pile.

Start 3' from the edges and work your way to maybe 1' away. Hungry fish will attack without you getting snagged. Of course sometimes the fish rushes out, grabs your bait, and swims back in.

    Just as well close them.

It's going to be May by the time they get Green River Lake down enough to use them. 17' above summer pool and rain like crazy the next few days.

Also the putty type baits with shrimp flavor work really well. If it doesn't already have shrimp flavor, you can buy some liquid flavor on ebay.

    Hot Air Fryer

Anyone tried cooking fish in one of these? I was in Sam's Club today and they had a bunch setting on the corner of an aisle. You don't use oil, just hot air to "fry" stuff.
