Why stress fish at all by keeping them in your live well? Hey, at least you got a picture....
I've thought about doing one of the community edits out there. Just seems like a giant waste of time. Lol
Navionics maps are pretty accurate out there. I've never seen one off by 20 feet there
5:00 or 5:30 I believe. Not sure on the cost. My schedule doesn't allow me to fish them.
There are several of us on here that fish it multiple times a week. It's not a big numbers lake but definitely a big bite lake. It will always have a lot of pressure due to it being so close to...
I have a friend looking for just a boat. No motor or with a blown motor. Must be 19'+. Prefer ranger. Late 90's or newer. Post what you have here please.
Sauger aren't running yet. Water temps need to come down a bit more. It's also a rough time of year for stripers and hybrids. With the cold front friday, things will change rapidly for the better.
Stripers? 6xd deep diving crankbaits on the rock pile in the middle. Then work the kentucky side bank in about 15-20' of water. Hybrids light weight small chrome spoons in the 2nd and 3rd gate. Vary...
Nothing good yet. Some good hybrids and stripers though.
You know for all the uproar over the loss in trophy catfish in the ohio, you think they would take better care of there fish...
They get more active when the temp starts to come down. But you can catch them year around. If you want hybrids find any discharge that has water coming out even a small amount. Toss out a spro aruku...
If he cant notice a difference between a wolf and a coyote I'm not sure he should be shooting anything. Unless it was a juvenile wolf, there is a enormous size and color difference. Lol
It's just a matter of time before they are in patoka. I'd actually be shocked if they weren't already.
All sold except the .308
Why would I ever need to know 25 knots on my boat?
All sold. See the new thread

Good point on the number of hooks. On the river we only show our kentucky. Indiana licence gets you a ticket every time.
At newburgh dam we use 1" white curly tail grubs. Tie 3 to 5 on about 12" apart. We also leave 12" of empty line at the end. That way we can use small weights if they are down a bit. You can also buy...
Hooking to the lock wall just seems like a bad idea. Always wondered how, won't ever do it.
Catfishing is way to boring for me. I will a couple rimes a year but thats it. I'm mostly out there for stripers.
Good thing you didn't go fishing there this morning. River was at 12.8 with hardly any current. Fishing was terrible.
Same drama with steve. Different forum. There is always some around him. Especially with his over reactioms.
Way to plug your own channel without paying advertising.
All sold except the .308 and .32
Question I've thought about for a while. How do people hook themselves to the lock wall at newburgh? I see them doing it sauger fishing. I'd never do it, but I wonder how they do.
Easy to find blown up motors. Lol
I've got a friend looking for a merc 225 in good shape. Any ideas? Seems they are tough to find.

Wish I had a $1 for every time I heard of a carrot stick breaking.
Coal companies have reclaimed most of the property up there and are mining some again. A lot of the reclaimed areas have signs up about hunting and fishing. I would assume Peabody owns it. They own a...
Coal company still owns them. And strictly enforce no hunting or fishing.
CO's need to step their game up at bluegrass.
Are they ooen yet? Dock in yet?
There are Asian carp and white bass in all the three big pits. As for bald eagles if you want to see some go to where the wabash dumps into the ohio. From there to the **** you can usually see some....
There are big fish in that the 3 main pits. Most locals who fish it a lot just don't talk about them. Do I believe a 11# bass out of bluegrass? Absolutely. Is it over fished and way to many fish...
Bluegrass is getting terribly crowded over the last 2-3 weeks. To crowded for fishing a few days. I have turned around and drove back home after seeing the parking lot three times lately. Anyone else...
This is why I carry a .45 on me or in my boat everytime I go fishing. I've heard that there have been a number of break ins this year at bluegrass. It's a shame stupid people have to mess up other...
It's the same old pit. A lot of boats and good fishing. It's been a little strange lately at least for me. Bass are all over the place as expected from really shallow to hanging around deeper...
Muskie seem to be easier to catch in loon than bluegrass. I've caught 2 out of loon always very early in the spring and on rattletraps. And yes there are sauger in bluegrass and loon.
The carp problem is terrible I agree 110%. Bad thing is I think it's to late for the population to be eliminated.
Let's hope this gets put in.
If you want catfishing hit the Ohio river.
Agreed Paul. None of us will buy in there again. I will also encourage everyone else to go else where. The place is terrible any way. Lol
Those maps are horrible. They do not even have the max depth right.
I use a retractable dog leash. Takes up musc less space and easier to mess with than a rope.
If it is the guy I'm thinking of then yes I'm sure you've met him. I couldnt tell for sure if it was his boat or not. He fished out there more than I do. He was also a extremely nice guy and always...
