I catch them shallow all year except late fall. Winter is the best
Wind is your friend with a spinnerbait. It excels in low light conditions and stained water also. Generally if it's high skies and slick, I'll leave it in the box. A tandem Willow and colorado...
I figured it was high. Curious if it's a mud hole. Thanks though.

Bang for the buck is Trilene big game. It's not the "sexiest" choice, but it is a good all around line. Little strechy but it's tough and forgiving. If you back lash, it stands up to the kinks....
What's the lake look like?
Most of the cool hub problems were with trailers that had tiedown engineering components. They used them somewhere around 2005 through 2008. If you have those hubs you're asking for trouble. I...
They were on the beds hard on the main lake. That was last thursday. I'd expect em to be around fry next week or so
Take it to tuckers prop shop in Clarksville IN.
It will look like new when they are done, and way cheaper than a new housing
I've a lot of success with it. The big girls are already up shallow and bite well after dark.
I found some early June in the creeks
Can anyone report water conditions for Taylorsville?
Thanks
Just buy Colorado blades and switch em out
Nevermind I thought you guys were out today. None the less good job. I'd rather be on the big O than working right now
I thought it would be a good one today. Current should have been optimal. At least above 12 mi island. Markland lower is dumping water and mcalpine upper is a little high looking for 12 feet. I love...
I start crappie fishing in Nov and continue through the winter. I bass fish the rest of the year. I tend to crappie fish where I've caught slabs while bass fishing and go from there. I'm still...
Come on, where's your sense of adventure? Numb fingers are awesome. I also like frozen snot I. The whiskers haha
I fished upriver yesterday. Getting back to Duffy's landing was a bear. Nothing like a strong west wind against current. Was worth it though. Caught a limit of crappie in 3 hrs. Also starting to...
Town of Derby has a ramp about a half downriver. There's also a state ramp(Mano point) about a mile east of Derby. Either one should suffice.
Hands down Garcia. They're super durable. I've 2 of the original revo s and sx. Bought em when bps opened in clarksville. Still good as ever and they have been abused, by me not fish ha ha. I've...
How did you do
You can buy minnows at the derby gas station/general store if want. They run a little big but the woman there is generous with her count. I have caught them fine on the larger ones
I just jig fish. Minnows slow me down, but the bulk and action might help if the water is extra stained. Oil always has color, so don't let that throw you off. I use the pro series thill slip bobbers...
Oil should fire up soon for crappie. Fish jigs under floats around the channel stumps. Start at the first bay on the left. Should be loaded with bait now. Caught a few nice largemouth in clover creek...

It is florouclear. 4 lb test though. Never use anything bigger than 8 lb even for bigger species. I guess seeing as how I have 600 yards I'll definitely give it a go....
If it's flourclear you won't be happy with it. Terrible abrasion resistance and breaks easily. If it's for flipping I spool about 50 yards of sun line shooter fc. I like 25 lb. Tough stuff. Use...
Check out this beauty that jumped in my boat Tuesday. I had just cleaned the carpet too. Most of the jumpers are in the creeks and the big heads on the main. I am seeing more and more bow fisherman...
Looks like your old man left a legacy to be proud of
American boat and yacht in jreffersonvillle
Crappie that's been dead a while
If this El Nino weather pattern holds up, we might have a very mild winter. After the past couple, I know I'm ready.
Consider joining a bass club as a non boater. It's a good way to meet people
Smallie
I know Bob well. You won't be dissapointed
You don't have trouble with red label abrasion resistance? I've tried a few different spools of the 20lb for flipping. Every time my line is tore up after a few flips. Just curious.
Might just be loaded up. Some three cylinders just run a little rough at idle too
Going to hit indian in southern In in the morning
Going to do a little wade fishing in the morning. I still love to get in those creeks. Anyone been out yet?
Second that. I've got 898 sihd front and back. Customer service was always above and beyond. Plus they're easy to use
You might try devcon 2 ton epoxy thinned with a few drops of acetone. Keep the bait turning till it dries. This is the coating a lot of custom lure makers use after painting. Sometimes it will give...
Challenge all you want. There's nothing wrong with a heated debate. But attacking someone's intelligence or character is not debate. You get angry if anyone challenges you. I hope you enjoy your...
That's a dandy too. Got to know Sam a little when I was a kid, and he was guiding of Bay Springs. He always took time to show me a few tricks.
Swamp donkey!!
Your the one resorting to name calling. I'm neither lazy or ignorant. I just merely commented on your breezy posts. You can review the thread to carroborate. I may have antagonized a bit, but I...
I thought I could get you going again.
Lack of words doesn't display ignorance. It merely conveys clear and concise communication. Besides, I thought I was getting blocked. Lighten up for godsakes and stop with the bloviating.
You underestimate my vocabulary. I'm an avid reader, and very articulate. I also try to be economical in my writing. So, without fear of being redundant, you are too wordy. No dictionary needed.
I agree, always too wordy
Your website looks really professional. I'm going to send you a few reels this winter. Your rods look nice too, except the one with the pUKe wrap. Ha ha
I'm really fond of the b&m double tap rods. The do have a small duck commander logo on, but it's easy to ignore
