yes alittle flashobou or shiny strands not too much, and rubber legs (should be able to get them at any fly shop), i use the black ones with a bit of red speckle in them, tie them under the barbell...
that is my goto fly for all occasions... add alittle flash and some legs and i guarantee the bass will hit... i tie it in different colors but you can't beat black, i tie a few different sizes, 8-10s...

had a freaky good day last saturday on Barkley... was in a shallow cove near Eddyville, waded in 3-4ft of water it was hot but i could not keep them off the line... i was fly fishing, small wooly...

new to Louisville... i have heard Harrods creek is a good place to fish but am having a hard time finding places to park and get in... any help?
