It's what we do. lol
I took a trip back to the pit this evening to see what was still available to fish in because I'd heard that Peabody took all that area back over and started strip mining again. So far the only...
I went up to Blue Grass the other day and took a bunch of pictures. It looks very nice when the area is snow covered.
I seen about a half dozen guys standing out in a field west of Otter pit the other day with 75 or more decoys.
Thought it was interesting. I spoke with one of them that was heading back out there...
Congrats on the hog. Very impressive. Curiosity has me wondering what lake you were on.
Wasn't too ad of a day. JG had the most excitement catching a good 3' or larger gar. He caught a tri-fecta of fish but not the kind we were after, drum, cat and a gar. He also had his share of bass...
I'm wondering how fast they were goin.
Couldn't have been much over idle. I've seen kayaks move faster on the lakes.
lol
As far as the gas goes, our government needs to let drilling here in the states resume so we're not depending on other countries.
Insurance, our government needs to get out of that business too....
Hope to be hittin BG soon. I'm a little over due.
Great report and pic.
Would like to see more choices in Evansville.
I would like to have fished but I've done took all my string off for the season.
You're fired. ha ha
Home 95% of the time. Work computers are way too slow.
A bass pro moved to Evansville? What was he thinking? lol
Anything is easier than bass at Patoka.
I think ya stand a better chance at catching a great white vs a bass there. lol
I'm gonna be enjoying the break in weather possibly this evening and tomorrow on a lake or two. Not to mention my a/c will finally get SHUT OFF ! ! ! WOOOHOOOO
I was there too fishin on the river, I didn't get a hit then moved to some grassy areas on the main lake and still didn't get a hit. Hey Nitro, we need to go fishin some time, you can show me what...
I'd like to be workin a frog in the grass. I can't get up that way to give it a shot. I usually have pretty good luck with my Scum Frogs and a good grass mat.
Very sad to hear.
He will be sorely missed for his vast knowledge.
He was always full of helpful info.
I'd like to get my jon boat out once before summer hits. Wouldn't mind enjoying the lower temps.
They're that big from eating the lm bass.
It was horrible in the a bass boat today. Couldn't imagine being in my boat.
18 was the forecast. I think we were blown around the lake faster than we idled.
Makes me happy I only have a jon boat. =))
Josh and I caught a little one each today. Winds at 18 mph, tomorrow winds are suppose to be ever stronger. Staying home to watch the race after church. =)))
Wow, talkin to Josh, sounds like he had an absolute monster. Bad angle of the rod I hear.
The wind pushed us outta the creek faster than we could have idled out. ha ha ha
We coulda used a few of those Saturday at the tournament. O_o
Welcome aboard. As stated before there's several places to get your line wet.
I use Google Maps or Google Earth to find a body of water.
12lbs and some change won the tournament.
6lbs and some change I believe won big bass.
13 lbs would have beat the winners. Top weight was 12 something.
Very tough day on the lake today.
High pressure came through and the wind kicked up. Not a good day on the lake. 37 boats entered. 17 weighed in fish. You do the math. :(
That's better looking that what's been coming outta Patoka lately.
If you're gonna throw stuff out throw it my way. ha ha ha
I'm not proud to say it but yeah, about 17 yrs off and on.
I fished Patoka for several yrs without haulin in a keeper till this past fall. I'm a testament to never giving up. =)))))
You need to go again soon.
A buddy and I went and done a little fishin Sunday. We caught 4 with this one being the largest.

Was a pretty good...
Hopefully they won't be back once the river goes back down some.
I would have had to let the CO know what was goin on I think.
A buddy and myself are heading that way too in the morning. Would also like a report or two. =))
As long as they were 15" they'd weigh in at Patoka. Hoping to put a few in the boat tomorrow. =))
Hey Coach, just wondering if you were still going to start the club. Sent an e-mail but never got a response.
HA HA HA ha ha
Now that's funny stuff.
Well I'm not sure how we could have been mistaken for deer since we were the only boat in that area and below a steep hill. ha ha ha
We caught two that day and not back in Painters . . . after we cleaned out our pants. :o
Yeah, my buddy and I pretty much bailed out of there. Almost had to change our britches. ha ha
Here's a scenario for the fishermen that also hunt:
Last tournament on Patoka Nov. 20th, my partner and I were fishing back in Painters Creek and he had noticed 2 deer (a buck and doe) strolling...
Last tournament I fished at Patoka, 2 bass won it. I think 3 of us weighed in 2 and the rest of the field either had one or blanked. All 5 tournaments didn't yield many fish at all really. There...
Is one area of disagreement worth voting for a different person? If that be the case then we'd have no one running the show. If we didn't have a state house and state senate than he Mitch could push...
