RE: 2005 Ranger camanche 520 vx

    Check out

Go to consumer prices and then to the boats tab. They also have one for motors. Don't foget the trailer either. Somertimes they quote prices as a package. You have to read...

RE: Question regarding stripers on top

Switch to a white redfin with a red head. If you can find the older ones with the rattles inside they're the best. If not, take a small drill and several pieces of #5 shotgun shot add through the top...

RE: cabin on Dale Hollow for Summer

I'd give my vote for Hendricks Creek. The folks there are super and it has an old time fish camp feel to it. I visited there for the first time this past year and will be back.

    RE: My 2 Cents worth

If it was a wild fishery MAYBE catch and release would make sense. However being that it is a put and take fishery when fish are put in someones freezer they are replaced by continuous stocking.

Just got back from first trip ever on this lake. Loved it, although it was tougher than I had planned. Rented a 55' houseboat and tied the bassboat along side....

    RE: What did I see?

If you're not certain it was a pontoon???

Possibly the KDFWR running a shock boat. They run a lot of lights with a gen set and have a railing around the front that may look like a pontoon. They...

    RE: Cumberland white bass

I maintain that the stripers are eating the whites. While they do not eat the 10"-13" fish, they do eat the smaller 1"-3" fish because they are in schools in open water in the same areas before,...

    RE: Cumberland white bass

I still maintain the striper fishery has taken off at the same time the white bass have declined.

Open water schooling fish are an easy target.

Early spawn up the rivers and creeks with the...

    RE: Deep Cycle Battery

I thought that the amp hours were the indicator of how long the battery lasted from a single charge? (100 amp hours would be discharged after 10 hours with a 10 amp draw.)

    RE: IKE gets a DQ

Good decision on the DQ. They have drawn a line in the sand and said enough is enough. BASS/ESPN had to make a stand....he did this in front of spectators and the word would have gotten out somehow....

RE: Fuel-high octane vs. low octane

My 2 cents....burn what the manufacturer recommends. I run a 10 year old Merc 150 XRI on 87 octane. It runs great and does what I need it to do. Never a problem with it.

    Good luck
