    I gotta agree with Elwood, TN seems to have more and better quality fish along with better structure, shale and grass. I would spring for the TN license for sure!

    I fish 10 lb. floro on a 7-7 1/2 ft. MH spinning rod. Usually throw a 1/4 oz. jig but will go up to 1/2 oz. if the wind is howling.

    Wait until Oct. 20 when they start pulling it down, it will be done turning over and the traffic will be gone. I've had some of my best days on Rough when they are pulling water.

    I would mount it on a ram mount on the console, so you could turn it around and view from the front also. Installation is not hard and the lowrance manual will walk you through pretty good.

    Longjohns, jeans, hooded sweatshirt, insulated Carhart coat and bibs. I also use a pair of fingerless wool gloves while fishing. In rain or snow Ill put my rain gear over top and I'm good to go.
