Quick question. I see guys out there all the time with jugs scattered from one side of the lake to the other, is it ok for me to pick a hole between the feild of jugs and run on plain through them? ...

It's hard to beat IBC. I haven't fished with them for a few years now but all the guys were great and it was ran well.

I do agree that they do need to do something with the shad population, some of those things are huge.

I gotta agree with Elwood, TN seems to have more and better quality fish along with better structure, shale and grass. I would spring for the TN license for sure!

I fish 10 lb. floro on a 7-7 1/2 ft. MH spinning rod. Usually throw a 1/4 oz. jig but will go up to 1/2 oz. if the wind is howling.

Wait until Oct. 20 when they start pulling it down, it will be done turning over and the traffic will be gone. I've had some of my best days on Rough when they are pulling water.

I talked to a COE oficer Sat. at the Axtel ramp on Rough, he was walking the lot writing tickets. I haven't heard anything of lifting the ramp fees, but would like to know since my permit expires...

I would mount it on a ram mount on the console, so you could turn it around and view from the front also. Installation is not hard and the lowrance manual will walk you through pretty good.
