    15 to 20 miles is the key, and that's not floating down and motoring up...that's using 20 miles of river which rolls into motoring for 40 miles. The more river you fish the more opportunity you have...

    It was a beautiful day...cold, slight wind, misty and the best part...it was LONELY! I was literally the only boat on the lake until I pulled out and guy was putting in to crappie fish.

    If the discharge remains at 3,800cfs you'll be fine in any boat. You will still have to be careful...there are spots that will reach out and grab you but for the most part you'll be able...
