For sale with 60 hp tracker mercury mariner motor and 65 lb minn kota foot controlled trolling motor.
Lowrance 7hdx gps and fish finder at console. Broke pinion gear and drive shaft in lower unit. ...
So today I'm running wide open when all of a sudden it felt like I hit something and the boat came off plane instantly. Shut the motor off thinking I had hit a stump or log or something and raised...
Fished here today for the first time and we struggled. Caught one keeper on a spinner bait. Also learned that the ramp on 304 i believe is terrible. Concrete dock with fat welfare ***** cat...
Went to cave run 3-27-18 just to get out on the water to run the boat and fish a little. Put in at 10:00 am water was 46.5 at alfreys. Ran up in beaver and found water 48.9 to 49.2. The licking...
Nice video. Going to give it a try tomorrow. Any suggestions on what to throw?
If you have never fished cave run before I would stay out of the river channel especially the licking river section. It is dangerous, tons of stumps just inches under the surface. I've been going...
Has anyone let lanny Haynes do work for them or can vouch for him being an actual rod repair guy. I really don't feel comfortable giving my rods to someone that I've never meet. And it may be...
Thank you
Can anyone tell me the water clarity on cedar creek. Thinking about you going tomorrow. Thanks
Thanks guys. I'll call around and see if I can find out water clarity on Taylorsville. Ik know the far were up floating in the bushes on c-land last week but carp fight a lot harder.
Has anyone saw carp or gar spawning. Wanting to stick some on Tuesday. Thanks for any info
Can anyone tell what the water conditions are. I know they are pulling some, just wondering how stained. Was there a few weeks ago water was 54 in the morning 57 when I left at 3.
Check out ky boat shop in paris. That's where I always go and he does good work. Super nice guy.

There is one in Jackson at Douthitt park. I wouldn't suggest wading that part of the river. Though it does have nice fish if you put in at the park and go up river. There is another one near Mount...
A little late but you will need a pass. Check the gas station I believe its a BP right off the interstate Sharkey exit. They have them or check the only little gas station in salt lick one of the...
Catfish are on the nest right now I would give it a few weeks. They should be off then. Unless you want to go to a farm pond I may be wrong but I don't believe they nest in ponds unless they have...
Went down yesterday bowfishing, 10 water was 69, 4 water was 72. About 2 feet visibility.
I know it's hard to find a good priced place to get a new decal for a boat. Well my buddy from work did the work on my tracker and it's not like a factory one but I think I like it better. Check...
Was there Monday, a lot!!! of debris between Conley bottom and Burnside. Called Conley bottom marina today and the lady said it was muddy up around Somerset but still clear at the marina.
Does anyone know what cave run is looking like as far as visibility?
Awesome thanks guys right now ky lake is a little far as of now but plan on a trip down to kill some gar and carp. Hopefully I can kill some on herrington. Thanks again.
You didn't by any chance see any gar flopping around did you.
Oh if I stick one it's coming to the house with me. Those are something you don't get everyday.
You can pull up the 2016 2017 fishing guide and it has the paddle fish right with the bowfishing section. I know a small reservoir that is loaded with spoonbills but for now they are illegal to...
In Kentucky you can take 2 paddle fish aka spoonbill a day. I have no plans on going to Indiana bowfishing.
Alright thanks guys hopefully we can go down and take out as many as possible in a month or so. Are the spoon bills hard to find. I would love to through one of those dudes on the grill.
Alright guys I'm hoping that I can get plenty of information on where to go to kill these dudes. From what I can find out I know I can go below Barkley dam but is there a certain location they like...
Made it to cave run but never made it on the water. Went to unload boat and the starter decided to give up today. Water was stained with about 1 foot visibility. That's pretty much all I know.
Is water level up any from the rain, is it stained. I was down last week and you had to beach your boat and there was maybe a foot of visibility. Does anyone have the temp.
Thanks I'm probably going down thursday. Depending on when Lowrance decides to send my unit back. If I don't have it I think I've fished it enough to find a few fish.
Thinking about hitting cave run one day this week, does anyone have water Temps and water clarity. Thanks in advance
I have a bass tracker 185 that I need the hull cleaned to a factory finish. Can anyone recommend a place to take it or a product to clean and Polish with. Thanks
Has anyone found any freshies yet. I've found several oldies and a few dead heads but no fresh ones yet. Did see a small buck on farm in Scott County that had lost one side.
The closet ramp is right at the spillway there is another place on down from there on the right before you get to the hatchery. Unless the water is up or your running a jet drive I wouldn't...
Thinking about going out on the water tomorrow to try to stick some gar and carp. Does anyone know if cave run is clear enough. What's the water levels on herrington. Idk if I'll do any good but...
My buddy just took a regular whisker biscuit and glued the bottom part to stiffen it up and it works well.
I had a old browning bow laying around and I bought the ams reel from sportsmans warehouse for 89$. I highly recommend the ams reel instead of the spool that you have to wind the line back on. I...
Well I finally hooked up on a couple of fish. My first ever was a 18 inch gar and how I hit it I have know idea. My second was a much nicer 4ft gar. Needles to say I am hooked on the sport now, if...
I'm am 20 minutes from cave run. I do plan on using the fish harvested for coyote bait. Use one invasive species to harvest another invasive species. The pond was over stocked when it was built...
Me and two of my buddies have decided to get into bow fishing. After a trip to a private pond that is over run with grass carp we are looking for other places to sling some arrows, since the pond...
With the water being up and it being pulled hard for the past month I was wondering what any of you guys thought about the catfish nesting. Do you think they will wait a few weeks after they quit...
Do any of you all know what cedar looks like? I know some storms rolled through there last night. I plan on going tomorrow, any information would be greatly appreciated.
I tell ya what Ill go with you and when you feel one take the bait Ill set the hook and catch it. Lol Im 6'5" and great big, use bigger fellas have to know our strength sometimes. Hope ya figure...
Maybe its a snapping turtle or a toothy creature your setting your hook into.
I fished this lake twice a few years ago and did alright. I was wondering if anyone else has ever fished it. Its a small lake 66 acre lake in Mt sterling.
Go to wkyt.com and they did a story on it with a video. If I were you I would save my gas and boat from damage and stay home.
Thanks for the report I was debating on going tomorrow but I guess I'll save my self the drive and do yard work instead.
Please give us a report if you go. I am only off on Monday and Tuesday so I don't get to go down any other time. But if the conditions are right I will go Monday or Tuesday. Good luck
Me personally I wouldn't be out on cave run until everything has calmed down. I've seen some monster floaters out there just barely above the top of the water.
