Annual KY Lake trip coming up next week.

Sad to say but I haven’t been all year. Anything happening fishing wise? Or your typical KY Lake summer stuff?

Dave was gracious enough to allow us to tag along a few days last week. Managed to squeeze out a few decent ones.

Checking to see if you’ve been out lately? Heading down for the week, probably staying at Moors.

Down on KY Lake for the week. Has been slow. Ledge, points, docks all slow. Next will try real shallow in the backs of the creeks/bays.

Anyone else having any luck or have advice?

When fishing the early top water bite on the flats in the back of bays how do you position your boat?

If the flat is ~5ft of water, do you stay in 10-12ft water preceeding the flat and fan cast...

On KY Lake now. Things have been slow and inconsistent Sat and Sun. Tried little of everything ledge, point, docks ... Any suggestions?

How far south do you need to go to find grass?

Green angers me, personally i find it difficult to get on em there. might be that the only time i make it down is in the heat of the summer

will do ... guess start out pitchin around tight cover and go from there

only fished there a few times. normal spots seem to be the tree line which the railroad tracks run by and the sucken...

Green isn't one of my favorites, only fished it once last summer and struck out!

I am in the process of switching exclusively to Vicious ... have used 12, 15, and 17 lb. I will admit it is fairly stiff stuff but is a great line for the money.

i am excited to go down and see ... hopefully it will stay in business for many years to come, always hate to see businesses close in small towns but i feel like i see more and more every time i go...
