I was just there for a week, and the tourney fisherman all seemed to be throwing worms, jigs, etc. I threw mostly buzzbaits and cranks all week and caught a lot of shorts.

As of Monday, the water was still pretty clear around Green River Marina.

Take a look at www.rodsox.com. They do a little more to the open end to strengthen it.

It looked like it was open to me, but I was just fishing the creek. I wasn't that close to it, maybe 300 yds or so. I can't say if anybody lauched or pulled a boat while I wa there either.....

Nice fish!!! I spent a week earlier this month and never had a sniff of a muskie, even with a guide. I'm glad it was CPR'd too.

Art's suggestion of Islamorada is a good one. I have a place in Marathon so I'm pretty familiar with the Keys. To expand on Islamorada, I would contact Bud-n-Marys marina and schedule 1 or 2 days...
