That's cool buddy but I think it's 6.16 not 6 lb 16 oz. Theres no real 6lb 16 oz I ever heard of its just 7lbs

If his scale is like mine, it can weigh in tenths or ounces. You can set it to way one way or the other.

Was this on a farm type lake, or a larger impoundment?

Nice bass. Good way to start the year!!

Thanks for the kind words. This fish scale weight is in lbs so 6.16 lbs is 6 lb and 16th lb which is going to be like 6lb2-3oz.When I was a kid I was fishing crazy but after turning 16yo cars and girls began to take over and I began to fish less and less till I was causally fishing only once or twice a year.Well last year the bug bit and I started fishing every chance I could but it was killing me I had never caught a really big bass.Last year I got a 4lb Bass and it was my PB till Saturday.I was fishing a smaller pond/lake and this fish was in 2 foot of water or so.She put up a good fight so I released her to fight again someday.

I think most of us here started on in line spinners,I think I had ever Mepps spinner ever made.I Like the black fury's the best. Farm ponds and creeks, man have things changed.

Not for me! Where I spend 90% of my time. But I agree with you.
